SMS SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

• Recommended Central Processing Unit: Pentium D or later
• Recommended RAM: 1 gigabyte or greater
• Hard Disk: Recommended 20 gigabytes of available space
• USB Port for Photo Badging and Signature Capture
• CD-ROM or DVD Drive
• Mouse or compatible pointing device
• Removable Media Storage Device such as a CD/DVD Writer for database backup
• Network Interface Card (NIC) with TCP/IP protocol and a valid, active IP address
• Graphic Card supporting 1024 x 768 or higher screen resolution
• Operating System: XP Professional with Service Pack 2 or later
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1 or later

Faster processors and higher RAM provide better system performance. To confirm that your PC meets the recommended requirements, you can view the PC's system information by selecting: Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information.

SMS System Requirements for 3.5.3: 

Hardware : Intel Pentium III processor or compatible (Pentium 4 recommended), CD-ROM, Mouse or compatible pointing device, Super VGA monitor.
Hard Disk Space : 100 MB
Memory : 512MB RAM
Web Browser :  Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher required for viewing reports. If the operating system does not support IE5.5 then the reports will be viewed with the default browser. If no browser is installed, then the reports cannot be viewed.

Supported Operating System :

• When Using Pocket PC or standalone PC As Programming Tool:
Microsoft Windows 2000 SP 4, Windows XP Professional SP2, Windows Server 2003 SP1, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows Vista Enterprise.

• When Using SNAP as Programming Tool: Microsoft Windows 2000 SP 4, Windows XP Professional SP2, Windows Server 2003 SP1, Windows Server 2003 R2
NOTE:  SNAP is NOT compatible with any Vista versions at this time.

• Operating System NOT Supported By SMS Express: XP Starter, XP Home, XP Tablet PC, XP Media Center, XP Professional x64,Vista Starter, Vista Home

• Additional Hardware Requirements Based Upon Programming Tool

If Using SNAP for programming: PC must have one free USB port.
If Using a PocketPC for programming:
• PC must have one free serial port * . 
• Windows CE based PocketPC ** with Uplink CE program is required.
• Schlage Electronics Computer Interface Peripheral (CIP) & programming cable required.

• If Using Standalone PC for programming :  PC must have one free serial port*
